Lampton School is a large, mixed, multi-ethnic 11-18 school. We were judged as "outstanding" in all categories by Ofsted in May 2008, in 2013 and 2024 again. We are the lead school for the London West Alliance and a SCITT. We are seeking to appoint a German language assistant from September 2025 to work in our successful languages department. The person appointed will be a fluent German speaker with a passion for developing language skills in pupils, and the ability to motivate and encourage young people. They should be proactive and provide an excellent level of support to staff and students.
The successful candidate They will work with pupils in small groups and one-to-one settings. They will develop students’ oral fluency and support them to improve their performance in the speaking component of the GCSE and A Level courses. They will also track individual student progress and help with examinations. This is an exciting opportunity to join the languages department within an outstanding School.
