The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering high - quality mathematics instruction to students at the international school. 3. Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Instruction
Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans in accordance with the school's curriculum standards and international educational frameworks (e.g., A - Level, AP).
Deliver engaging and interactive mathematics lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels, from elementary to high school.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, such as hands - on activities, group work, and technology - enhanced learning tools, to make mathematical concepts accessible and enjoyable for students.
Differentiate instruction to meet the individual learning needs of students, including those with special educational needs and gifted students.
Continuously assess student learning through regular assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to help them improve their performance.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of grades and attendance.
Classroom Management
Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Handle student conflicts and disciplinary issues in a professional and appropriate manner, escalating to the appropriate authority when necessary.

Participate in professional development opportunities, such as workshops, conferences, and online courses, to enhance teaching skills and subject - matter knowledge.
Collaborate with colleagues within the mathematics department and across other disciplines to share best practices and develop interdisciplinary projects.
Contribute to the school's professional development initiatives by sharing expertise and leading professional learning communities.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with other teachers, including homeroom teachers and subject - area teachers, to support the overall academic and personal development of students.

4. Qualifications
Educational Requirements

Experience
At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
